After a successful career in finance, I chose to follow my life-long passion for gardens and garden design.  I began my studies in horticulture and landscape design in 2007 and completed my Certificate of Landscape Design with honors from Cabrillo Community College in Aptos, Ca.   I founded “Serenity by Dezign” in 2014 following several years working for a Los Gatos design/build firm.  My work has been featured in Los Gatos Magazine and can be seen in many homes in and around the Bay Area.  My previous professional life and education have shaped how I approach my business as a designer.  Clear communication and meeting deadlines are an important part of that.  I find the most rewarding experience is translating the dreams and desires of the client into a working design that is both beautiful and sustainable.

In my personal time I enjoy working in the garden, caring for my chickens, cycling, camping in the Sierras and spending time with my friends and family.
